Today I ate the most delicious food imaginable: in-shell pine nuts bought at a roadside stand in New Mexico. Ben and I save these nuts for special occasions. We have a limited quantity and they taste like heaven. Usually we serve them with red wine and Spanish cheese, and this time was no exception.

The occasion? I’ve been offered the position of Ritual and Religious School Coordinator at a local synagogue. I start on Monday. It’s okay. No one is looking. You can do a little celebration dance with me.
